The flagship program for the educational division is our ongoing learning groups in Chicago, Passaic, Lawrence, Flatbush and Kew Gardens. These communities all have weekly chaburos that learn topics of monetary halacha with source sheets and a Rosh Chabura who delivers a shiur on the material with a focus on practical real life scenarios. Individuals who have attended these various groups enthusiastically encourage others to join and/or organize similar groups in various locations. They feel that the learning and knowledge gained has changed their day to day life in a meaningful way.
Plans are underway to open similar groups in Monsey, Riverdale, Montreal, and Los Angeles. The Machon has made available source sheets and audio files of all the shiurim that have been given to enable communities or individuals who desire to become more knowledgeable in the area of monetary halacha to do so.
We are committed to helping any individual or community that is interested in setting up a similar learning group. Along with helping to locate an appropriate Rosh Chabura and providing source sheets, We will provide posters to facilitate the local marketing of the learning group.
