Hamodia was founded nearly 100 years ago in Eastern Europe with the active support of the foremost Torah leaders, including Hagaon Harav Chaim Ozer Grodzinski, the Gerrer Rebbe, Harav Avrohom Mordechai Alter, Hagaon Harav Chaim Brisker, zecher tzaddikim levrachah.
In 1998, the English-language weekend Hamodia was launched to serve the growing Orthodox Jewish community in America and Europe, as well as the English-speaking community in Israel. Hamodia quickly rose to prominence worldwide. On December 15, 2003, Hamodia revolutionized the American community with its introduction of a daily edition. In 2008 a French-language edition of Hamodia was begun.
While its stellar growth can be attributed to many factors, the key to Hamodia's success is because we have siyatta d'Shmaya.
Today, Hamodia is the undisputed market leader: a respected publication that reaches and influences hundreds of thousands of Jewish households worldwide through its daily and weekend editions.
